Creating my own sound and some other stuff aswell!!!

     There are two different scenes for the short film, which include the scene with the characters talking on the phone and the scene where Derek leaves a card at the doorstep. Both of these scenes will contain very different aspects of sound.

    All sound effects and music will be taken from Epidemic Sound as I have a subscription for the use of that platform. I will mention this fact when I create the opening credits for my opening as well.

    The first scene will contain no music and highlight how quiet Will's room truly is. It showcases just how far he's gone to live his life in complete isolation. The only sounds I wish to use are sounds of the air-conditioning within the room, the fan moving, and footsteps of Will walking as he prances around his room. These sounds will all be taken by Epidemic Sound.

    The second scene will only be accompanied by non-diagetic music, which will build up until the title card. I tried finding music that was hopeful, but, still goes along with the darker tones presented in the first part of the opening. Currently, I have found one song that I would like to use for this part of the opening. However, it does take a long time to get to the drop. But, with some clever editing techniques I can easily skip to the last part while having the build-up to the drop in the opening. But, I really like this music.
